The A Cappella Project – Philadelphia runs multiple groups every year in the Philadelphia area.
Project & Reverb (Summer)
Each summer, Project-Philly members from high school graduates upward form a number of a cappella groups. These groups rehearse during June and July and present the Annual Benefit Concert in early August. Project groups rehearse twice a week and provide a more intense rehearsal environment. Reverb groups rehearse once a week and provide a slightly more relaxed experience. Both Project and Reverb groups are made up of singers college-age and beyond.
Reverb (Fall and Spring)
During the traditional academic year, the adult members of Project-Philly form Reverb groups. The groups vary in size and composition from year to year and semester to semester. Reverb groups rehearse once a week and put on a performance at the end of each semester. The fall semester runs from September to mid-December and the spring semester runs from late January to early May. Reverb is open to singers college-age and beyond.
Since summer 2014, Project-Philly offers a summer a cappella group especially for high school students. This group rehearses once a week from late May to early August, and performs alongside Project-Philly’s adult groups on the Project-Philly Summer Benefit Concert. Greenlings is open to any high school student who will be in grade 10, 11, or 12 in the following school year. For more specifics about this group, please click here.
